A -10.2% drop in fuel prices lead to lower flying expenses which along with increase in passenger volume from more frequent flights and new routes, gave way to the recovery of local airlines.
Revenues of PAL grew by +7.2% while Cebu Pacific’s net income doubled from the +14.6% increase in passenger revenue and +12.7% increase in cargo revenue.
